Angelique Rivera is a trained stage and film actor from Kissimmee, Florida. As a little girl, Angelique dreamed of being a prima ballerina, but after years of training, she made a life-defining career change at the age of 8, appearing as Pepper in a local production of Annie; she has been an actress ever since. While still pursuing her BFA in Acting from the University of Florida, Angelique spent the summer in Los Angeles, working as an intern in the youth department of AEFH Talent Agency. While there, she learned the ins and outs of the industry and gained the courage and knowledge to pursue her professional acting career in Los Angeles. Angelique graduated early from the University of Florida and moved to the city in early 2015. She hit the ground running and within her first few days in Los Angeles she signed with a manager. Then, she began to steadily audition and make casting director fans.
Six months after moving to Los Angeles, Angelique booked a series regular role on the critically acclaimed series American Crime on ABC. Her first professional job ever. With so much excitement she packed her bags and moved to Austin, TX to film the second season. Her role was Evy Domiguez, the witness to a heinous crime involving her boyfriend and a few members of an elite private school basketball team. The second season premiered on January 6th, 2016. |
